By default, WPvivid does not delete files in a migration. In most cases, the target site for a migration is a fresh WordPress install, which is also recommended and assumed.
In WPvivid Backup Pro, you have the options to clean up old files and empty the database before restoring.

I am ready to buy Pro LTD but wanted to understand exactly how that last part works.
The thing is that I don’t think that it’s mostly a fresh WordPress install. There are many cases where we would do a relaunch. So the site exists already on the hosting of the client. No need to mess around with access to their hosting and domain as long as I have FTP access.
Another situation could be when you want to migrate between dev and staging.
Dev is for the development.
Staging is to show the client the status.
I would migrate the site every 2 weeks from Dev to Staging, fully overwriting Staging (not merging).
Therefore, I think there are valid use cases.
When I do a “normal” migration with Updraft Pro, WPvivid, Migration Guru.. it seems you all merge the content.
And that is the part I cannot fully understand.
If I want to migrate A to B. I want that B looks exactly like A. I don’t want to get an A-B-mix.

I’ll see if I find that part about “clean up old files” in the documentation, to see if this works for my use case. Maybe that is exactly what I would require.
I also think that many others would need this as well, but perhaps just don’t know about it, as merging works most of the time (it’s just not a clean way of doing it).
