  1. A female I know left and is looking for new roles. This is not a flex. If you care so much about money, this is not the way to show it.

  2. hehe. Why would people not quit now? A six-month allowance is not something that would be adequate compensation for dismissal. It is almost impossible for a WordPress developer, if he can’t do anything else, to get a job somewhere in a decent company, and a reasonable period of time

  3. $30k and no certainty being spun as a generous offer is one thing, but trying to spin “nearly 10% of my workforce quit in disgust at my behaviour” as some kind of big, validating win is alarmingly unhinged. That is an *embarrassing* amount.

You know, as if you needed any more proof that Matt has gone off the deep end, being proud of that number is it.

  4. The last reported number I saw was ~8% of staff have left. Which is an astounding number. 8% chose a buyout and future economic uncertainty, you can guarantee that the number that are unhappy but stayed because who would want to job hunt in this market?
