I’m a beginner to WordPress, and would really appreciate some assistance

[ad_1]

I just started using WordPress, and while im trying to watch tutorials on how to use it, lots of people are choosing to use starter templates as well as using elementor(editor). But my issue with this is that, the starter templates and elementor, both seem like the pro version is needed to actually make a decent website without countless pay barriers, and i don’t want to dump a bunch of money into anything yet. Now my question is, what is the best way to just start making a website, and why editor is recommended? And maybe both options are the best options, I’m so new I wouldn’t know.
I really appreciate any feedback, thanks.

  1. I should probably mention that right now I’m trying to use the basic WordPress Gutenberg editor, additionally it had a plugin called spectra download with it. And also I’m trying to create a simple blog website

  2. If you don’t want to spend money, you can definitely use free Gutenberg block collections and build nice sites. Have a look at Kadence Blocks, Greenshift, GenerateBlocks.

If you want a good builder, have a look at Bricks. But it is not cheap, though it has a lifetime option.
