The skill range for what I’m looking for is pretty broad, and the pay would depend on the individual’s ability to perform (less years of experience based and more skills-based).
We’re a small company that’s built a lot of initial web experience in/on WordPress, we do have plans to move more app behavior to a reactjs app stack, but we still have long-term plans for WordPress to power more straightforward pages and posts web experience.
We’re trying to keep the WP stack clean and maintainable, so we’re keeping plugins under control. We deal with health data, PII, e-commerce and other sensitive information so we self-host in AWS, currently using ECS and a containerized WordPress setup, and git via github for source control.
I’m looking for individuals, FTE or contract, or agency help if you know of any that are good and cost-effective.
Page Builder role:
I need someone interested in helping us quickly knock out pages and page edits with a good skill level. We have some in-house design and product team members, and if you’re very proficient in getting layouts to match mockups and are happy with that, let me know. This would be a pretty plain engagement, and for someone proficient in using the Gutenberg editor and generate blocks
Frontend dev role:
We’re also looking to coevolve our wordpress and reactjs capabilities. We’re doing some of the same type of development that core wordpress does, in building our own reactjs components and bundling them for use in wordpress. I’m not sure how many people delve into this level of customization but if you know what I’m talking about and want to reach out about helping us accelerate this I’m open. Were building both standard and dynamic blocks.
