Image intensive website

[ad_1]

Hello Developers! I am building my website to sell my digital artwork. I am using wordpress woocommerce to do it. It almost finished but there’s one problem. The page speed is still slow. I have already compressed my images before uploading, lazy load use a CDN caching these kinds of things (but i use free version of those plugins) I will have around 1000 images at my site, the original image size is usually more than 1MB, so even if I compressed them, it will not be small.

I would like to know your advice and experience like the suggested plugins or is it necessary to invest in the paid version of some plugins to make my website speed faster? I don’t mind to pay as long as they are worth the money… but I just don’t know which plugins are worth investing in my case.

basically I have tried all the suggested advice and plugins.. I am not satisfied with the performance and speed. not sure if I am configuring them correctly… or there’s something important missing..

Thanks in advance🙏🏻

  1. Converter for Media -> changes images to WebP.

You use the term CDN, but do you actually use a CDN? Maybe you misused this term, as it doesn’t make sense in your sentence (unless I am reading your sentence wrong).

Have you tried consulting a professional to take a look at your website? Or post your website to a Reddit forum?

Have you used Google PageSpeed Insights? Pingdom?

Plugins are NOT always the answer. Sometimes, it is the implementation.
