Image URL alternative sizes | WordPress.org

[ad_1]

Hi Rolf,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. When those smaller size images have the same URL as the main image but with size numbers in the URL added to it, for example 500×500, than you might be able to create find and replace rules and add the 500×500 to the image URL.

Hope this makes sense?

Note: I tried “Main image simple and variations” but that renders the same result as just “Main image”.

Hi @supportadtribes yes I did think of adding a Rule but had not noticed the “find and replace” option before… Thanks for pointing me in the right direction 🙂

How does “find and replace” work? I can’t seem to make it replace anything and I don’t see an example on https://adtribes.io/how-to-create-rules/ … does it need regex?

Can you share with us an example of an original image URL and the new one you want to create with the find and replace?

O hang on, sorry, I still had “Main image simple and variations” set under Mapping but created the Rule to find and replace in “Main image”. Fixed it and all is working now. Excellent 🙂

Thanks for your help!

Perfect, thanks for the heads-up and good to hear you got it to work.
