After inserting my SSL icon from the SSL certificate I recently acquired, my site has slowly lost its ability to show images, starting with the SSL icon, and then the rest of my images. It was noticeable at first just in the media library when I wanted to update a page (showing just grey boxes instead of images). Then all of my pages stopped showing images, just the broken image icon.
I changed the theme, I deactivated the one plugin I’d installed (for instagram), I cleared my browser’s cache/cookies etc before restarting it… I worried it was related somehow, oddly, to the SSL logo I was given, and the php code I was told to insert on the pages that I wanted to display the logo. So I just deleted all my pages (backing up my text on my computer so I can recreate), but still no changes.
I then went in to my cPanel FTP file manager and checked to see if Read/Write/Execute for wp-content -> uploads folder was correct, and it was…
I’m at a loss as to what to do! I don’t know how to correct this and feel so lost! Please help…
