Cloudflare will automatically serve in the format which the browser supports. I’m not sure which version of Safari you have, but the latest version should be able to display both webp and avif formats.

That makes sense. I’m currently on Safari 15.4. and Monterey OS, so I guess I’ll just finally need to update to the new Ventura OS which has more up to date version of Safari.
It’s been on my list for a while now.
