Working on a website that used a custom theme with custom plugins design for only that theme. Theme is no longer supported, and stopped working with Yoast, uses wordpress bakery. Decided to just rebuild in elementor, as they like it and I’m familiar.
Only issue is – they have a custom post type “portfolio” with 68 items. On my rebuilt overview page, I can use these in the portfolio plugin to display thumbnail links to them, but when you click to go to the page, theres a site error (obviously, due to no longer using the theme those were built with.) It’s “AZ Custom Post Type,
Custom Post Type for Portfolio and Team for Alice Theme Only.”
Is there any way to possibly save these posts/portfolio pages and export to my own custom post type or something, or do i have to remake every single portfolio page? I know i can export in Tools, but would it work when i imported it? Because wouldnt it just be still those “only for use with Alice” posts?
Just want to make sure before i dive into insanely tedious work, since i haven’t worked with custom post types or portfolios really, only unique pages.

You could run a custom query or alternatively look at a tool that exports and imports posts along with all the metadata.
