In search of an open-source, viable backup solution for WordPress

[ad_1]

Here we go—I’m on the lookout for an open-source solution that doesn’t unexpectedly evolve into a freemium plugin with a dozen different tiers, cloud drives, and other shenanigans.

I’m after something straightforward—a tool that can back up a site and restore it to another domain basically. Just the basics.

Currently, I handle it at the terminal level, but I’m seeking a graphical interface for a more user-friendly experience. Before diving into reinventing the wheel, I wanted to reach out and gather insights. Any recommendations?

Please, only open-source once or truly free once that won’t turn premium. I’ve been through Duplicator, Updraft, VaultPress and BackupBuddy and I am so over and finished with them.

Thanks guys!
