In Your experience, what % of WordPress sites disable Java-script ?

[ad_1]

I have a WordPress website that relies on Java-script for some of the functionality to work. Just to gauge based on people’s experience, If you had to estimate, what would you put the % of visitors that have Java-script disabled in their browsers ?
I just want to see how many users I might potentially lose.
Thanks

  1. Odds are the number is going to be fairly low overall, but I’d wager that it will vary a lot based on the niche of your site. I’ve seen numbers ranging from 1-10%.
If your topic is privacy and security, or even just IT related you’re more likely to run into tech-savvy users that have script blocking plugins on their browser.
If your topic is food, you probably won’t see the same level of blocking.

Personally, I have it off by default and if I go to a website and see their page cannot even load without JavaScript (ie. the main content body is just blank) I usually leave.
