Inegrate custom URL-s and custom data

Hi,
I am working on a complex website development. The website will contain tens of thousands of products. To optimize performance I am using custom database tables for products and custom urls using the Rewrite API. The products have a custom editor page in the admin interface.
I spent two days researching how I could integrate the Yoast SEO plugin features for these custom products, but unfortunately I couldn’t find a usable starting point. My goal would be to fully integrate the plugin’s features, in the admin interface to edit the product using metabox, in the Yoast SEO settings section to display the products under content types. And of course all the front-end features like sitemap, meta tags, schema markup etc. But I would like to avoid using custom post type because it would degrade the performance of the website a lot.
Could you help me how I could start the integration? I don’t necessarily need a step-by-step guide. Any examples or articles that help me get started would be great.
Thank you in advance for your help,
Miklós
