I’m trying to troubleshoot my site, I’m using woocommerce without many plugins, but the theme itself I’m using is not that light. My problem is initial load, but what’s kinda curious to me is that the whole page takes a lot to “start” loading. What do I mean by that? When you write the url and hit enter, it takes like 7-8 seconds for the title of the site to even appear, would this generally speaking be a problem with the hosting? Or could it be wordpress/woocommerce itself? (I’m using a regular ‘ol godaddy hosting, not the wordpress ones, just a normal shared hosting).

GoDaddy hosting absolutely sucks. Try setting it up on Amazon Lightsail as an experiment and I bet you’ll be amazed at the performance difference.
