Hello! I run the [Auburn Uniform Database](http://auburnuniforms.com/) and I’m looking to put together some sort of interactive feature on the site that would allow users to browse through the extensive research I have put together over the years. I have multiple, large Excel spreadsheets – one for each sport – that includes each game, the result of the game, what uniform Auburn was wearing, and (sometimes) what uniform the opponent was wearing, among other items.
I don’t have a lot of examples to go off of. This one from [Hail State Unis](https://hailstateunisdatabase.com/) is one of the best options available, though the creator has stated they are going to rebuild it sooner or later. Here’s another, albeit not very good one, from the [Baseball Hall of Fame](http://exhibits.baseballhalloffame.org/dressed_to_the_nines/database.htm).
I want something that can showcase the extent of my research and allow for photos to be used, but like Hail State’s design.
I’ve searched a bit but haven’t seen much I really like. I think my vocabulary may be off a bit here as well, as “database” searches seem to be more back-end based than front-facing.
I’m really trying to gauge the options available here. Is there something standard that could be used? Does this need to be a custom build from scratch? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
