I’ve made about 10 website using elementor page builder, different plugins and themes with little to no coding. Is it worth me taking time to learn to code and become a real developer over just being a website designer?

That’s really a “design” vs “developer” question.
If you haven’t had need to develop something in wordpress yet (i.e. some functionality and/or plugin, etc.) then you likely don’t need to spend much time on it.
Learning to ‘develop’ will likely help you along the way, but not necessarily a requirement.
If you want to build bigger and/or more complex sites, enjoy programming, maybe want to get into building other stuff, and want to be paid more, yes. There’s nothing wrong with what you’re doing tho. If you found your niche and are comfortable staying in it, then that’s grand too.
Let’s say you’re working on one of your Elementor-only websites and a large extra whitespace pops up below the menu and this only happens on the contact page, and everything looks correct in the Elementor settings. Could you fix this issue yourself with CSS?
Being able to develop your own website comes in handy if your use case is specific, or you dont want to spend money on plugins for the desired functionality.
It really depends on what you are trying to be able to offer to clients. Plenty of work out there for people who are just really good with WordPress/WooCommerce/etc. Also plenty of work out there for people who can build custom solutions on their own.
If you drive a car, should you be a mechanic?🤔
Surely, it can be helpful sometimes, but nowadays that’s not necessary.
Basically, all you do really need to know, you will get along with your growing experience.
