Is it ok to use redirects instead of dynamic QR codes?

[ad_1]

I’m printing aluminum signs with QR codes on them. Say, 100 unique QR codes, with not too many scans/day. In the future, I may want to redirect the QR codes to different urls (in this use case, it wouldn’t happen too often). I’m afraid to use dynamic QR codes because I don’t want to get locked in to paying a monthly fee to a company like Beaconstac (or, god forbid, the QR code company goes out of business and the dynamic QR codes just stop working altogether).

Can I instead use static QR codes, and manage the url changes in the future with redirects? Is it ok to have like 100 redirects on one WordPress site, if there isn’t a lot of traffic? And if so, what’s the best way to manage those redirects?

Many thanks for any insights!
