Situation is that a plugin I’m using uses the default editor and contributor user roles to control access it.
However, it contains information that needs to be restricted to certain users, but has not capabilities built in, so cannot be restricted using the various user role control plugins.
Is there an easy way to add custom user roles, and/or capabilities to an already existing plugin, or does it need a developer to make major changes to achieve that?
