I built and maintain a little website for a local organization. I’m part of it, and it’s my contribution. So I bought a Nixihost subscription for like $18/month. Well some of the other sites I had in the pipeline fell through, so I’m just paying this much for a little website that I update twice per month.
It’s really just a generic five-page website, with one page that is like a blog, and I post with updates from the meetings.
Other than that the only changes happen annually when the board/leadership changes.
I just need to save some money. Is there a cheaper host for just one site? Or is there a way to convert it to a static site to use on GitHub Pages? I’ve heard of that but not super familiar.
