Hi guys, not quite sure what to do here. Since about two weeks ago I have not been able to update plugins, install new ones, delete files from within WordPress or do anything that pretty much requires WP to access the server. Feeling it was a permissions issue I had my server admin chmod permissions of all folders to 755. When it still didn’t work, i temporarily just to try and get everything fixed did 775. Still no dice. I’ve either gotten “cannot create directory” or (paraphrasing this one) “installation failed as some files are not writable”.
What do I do here? Is there something wrong with my installation? My WPconfig? Or something else?
