I’m a complete beginner and I’m very confused about this. A lot of people on reddit have shared this little trick they use while reading a recipe/ cooking – ‘When you visit a recipe page, hit the ‘jump to recipe’ button and then hit the ‘print recipe’ button right away to avoid ads while reading the recipe/ cooking.’
Now, I do understand the necessity of ‘jump to recipe’ button but, at the risk of coming off greedy, would that not reduce the session/ engagement time and ultimately the revenue? I’m not planning to annoy people with too many ads but it takes hours and hours of hard work to click pictures, write and post recipes that one has perfected over the years/ cherished family recipes. I don’t want to do all this for free.
Call me an arse but does the session time on ‘print recipe’ tab even count? Does that affect ad revenue/ SEO?
If it does, I’m planning not to provide the print feature. Very few actually print the recipes anyway.
