Is the “Really Simple SSL” still necessary if I already set the page to the https version?

[ad_1]

SSL is activated in my Webhosting and during the installation of WordPress I set the “[**https://www**](https://www).abc.de” version as main website.

Does the redirects to his main “[https://www](https://www)” version happen automatically now? Even if someone wants to visit the url with “http”.. or the version without “www” ? Will WordPress always redirect the user to the “[https://www](https://www)” version?

Or should I better install a plugin like Really simple SSL ?
