What are “News Articles” for you? I understand it to mean that there are already posts on the website in question. And some of these posts (the “news”?) should not be displayed in the archive. Is that correct?
If so, what is the website built with? Which theme or PageBuilder generates the archive? Depending on this, we could advise you on a way to solve this.
Then you could control the hiding via categories. Assign a specific category to the posts that should not be displayed. How you then restrict the view in the frontend depends on the answer to the 2nd question above?
So if you post items, and they all land in the main posts area.
And you are saying you can hide items from a category, from the main posts area??
Something tells me this plugin would be perfect:

And you are saying you can hide items from a category, from the main posts area??
No, that’s not what I meant. You can assign any number of categories to each post. You can use one of the categories to hide posts assigned to this category in the frontend. The way you do this just depends on your frontend, about which you unfortunately still haven’t answered any questions.
And yes, this plugin could also be a solution for the method I described. It just has to be compatible with your frontend. Just try it out.
The Category Exclude plugin is ideal, thanks.
Not quite sure why the front end matters, but I am sure it does to you. Just wanted to hide posts from the main blog/news page of a WP website. That plugin will do it just fine.
