Basically, I had no idea what I was doing and made an account + site to just see what the deal was. I then heard from a friend I should try Squarespace so I (foolishly) deleted my account and site, thinking if I wanted to try again I could just use the same account and URL.
I ended up coming back to WP and realized I wouldn’t be able to use my same account/info as before and started anew. I’ve since made a decent amount of progress on my site.
Then, I was going through my email the other day and saw in my deletion request for my original site + account that I could reach out to support to have them reverse it within a certain amount of time. So now I have the original URL I wanted but the site is completely empty.
Is there a way for me to take the site I have built on my backup URL and somehow either transfer the site or transfer the URL so they can be paired up?
I’ve read on some forums to use a plugin but I’m curious if there’s a way to do it without upgrading my plan, as this is just a casual hobby project.

I assume you are talking about wordpress.com? They should have a backup, speak to support.
If you can install plugins then [All In One](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/) will do what you’re wanting.
