I have some basic WP skills. I built a site for a friend a few years back. And now I’ve inherited my church’s website.
On that website there is an Upcoming Events page that requires almost daily maintenance. We go in there and remove stale events from the past and add new ones to the tail, so it’s kind of queue-like, except that some recurring events are pinned at the top. I feel there must be some kind of widget that already exists that manages this common kind of problem. It would likely use a google doc or a spreadsheet to keep track of events, or something structured like that. But I have no idea where to look for such a thing. Where would I find something like that?
