i’m worried i will end up overwriting the current live site. my staging site is just 1 page. I want to basically just move that page to my main site so I can continue editing/designing before publishing.
I have already used cpanel and added it in WP-content, it’s now a backup on the dashboard in all in one migration, but unfortunately i found out after doing that, that there’s no way to edit that backup. (it only gives me two options: download and restore, and I was told restoring it will overwrite my current site.
.. Been trying to figure this out for a week. 😭 starting to feel like I’ll need to just redesign the entire page from scratch on wordpress and that using a staging site ended up proving to be more difficult *sigh*

Oh and I want to add: please don’t suggest copy pasting elements from one page to another in elementor. I have tried countless times and it hasn’t worked. everytime i click “paste” on the main wordpress page, it will just paste my site logo out of nowhere..
any other suggestions welcome

Elementor has portability options as does WordPress. Porting just a single page, do not use the method above it will overwrite the whole site.
