Hey all,
I’ve been diving into Full Site Editing (FSE) recently, and I like the potential it offers for building dynamic websites.
However, I’ve got some concerns about how to implement it in a way that suits the needs of my clients, who usually prefer not to mess with design elements.
FSE seems to be all about giving end users more control over the site’s design, but in many cases, my clients don’t want that level of control, and frankly, they shouldn’t need to be designers.
I like FSE and the only control I give them is to update content (text) and perhaps use predefined blocks for certain elements without accidentally breaking the site’s design.
Has anyone else faced a similar situation or have any tips on how to strike a balance? I want to leverage FSE’s power and as I’ve said before, I like the idea of FSE, but it seems to me that it is something that is not so practical in the market and real world situations.
So, how are you using FSE, what do your clients say?
Any advice, best practices, or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
