Hey everyone.
I created a website on my localhost then I added a fresh install of wordpress on my webhost. I then used a plugin called “Backup Migration” to backup my local website and restore it it to my fresh wordpress install on the webhost. All worked fine. Now when I add new media on the webhost website it adds the files however if I try view them I get a internal 500 error. All the previous stuff loads but nothing new. Pictures, PDF, documents of any kind just wont load. When I look at the media and I look at the pictures for examples then I can see them all next to each other with a preview thumbnail. When I upload a new picture it just shows up as a grey square then when I try view it I get the error.
I have no idea what broke or is causing this issue. I am still somewhat new at wordpress and would love some help as I cannot upload any new media now to the website.
