Issue with page title on events calendar – suggestions appreciated!

[ad_1]

Hey! So I’m updating my inlaws website and have added forms and an event calendar. I opted for The Events Calendar plug-in, it’s working well and I’ve already populated the events. However after a while I realized there was an issue with the title on the page! When you navigate to the page directly or through the menu, the title on the page is not “events calendar” but the title of the last event created. The title does not change if I click on other events in the calendar. I haven’t been able to find a way to correct this – the page name is reflecting correctly in the menu and I looked through all the options in the theme settings. I tried to make an events page and add the correct title, but since the Events Calendar generates its own page that overrides any created events pages, that didn’t help at all. Anyone else encounter this issue? It’s driving me insane! I have a temporary work around where I created an event called “Events Calendar” but it seems like a stupid thing to have to do. Hopefully it’s any easy fix that I’m just not seeing! Fixes or suggestions appreciated!
