It hasn’t even been 48 hours yet and mods aren’t even following their own rules.

That post two days ago specifically said that any and all posts (including spam) would be allowed. It specifically said that mods wouldn't be removing any posts from the sub.

Well it only took a few (very neutral) posts for mods to remove them.

Note that it doesn't matter whether these are WordPress-related or not. The mods specifically said they wouldn't remove any posts unless it violated Reddit's rules. These weren't random memes about Matt. There was no abusive language in the posts or in the comments. Under the mod's OWN RULES that they set for this week, these posts were allowed.

But I guess because it relates seemingly to one of the mod's employers, or reflects disfavorably on Matt (even though these are just allegations), the mods decided to take it down.

  1. At this point it’s clear this community’s moderators don’t operate in good faith. The only resolution here is appointing more partisan moderators or migrating to a new subreddit.

  2. Haven’t you heard? This place isn’t a democracy. Take what the mods give you and like it, peasant. /s

  3. So did you not see they changed the pinned post about the moderation, and updated the rules in the sidebar?
