The follower count on the subscription block should include both your WordPress.com followers (via email) and your social followers (this would be where the bulk of your followers come from). Have you added your social media accounts back?
Ohhhhhhh ok ! This is the solution ! Wasn’t clear for me since it’s not mentionned. But you are right ! Since i reconnected social medias, everything is ok and the good number is back !
