Why do I get this error? I fixed this by manually de-registering and re-registering jQuery, which worked. I suppose a plugin may have intentionally or unintentionally de-registered or conflicted with jQuery. Normally, barring any such conflicts, shouldn’t I have access to jQuery on every page? It would also seem to be a good idea to ensure that a plugin doesn’t foul this up before putting it in the library. Any thoughts on this issue? Does anyone make it standard practice to manually register jQuery when they intend to use jQuery calls?
