Hi everyone,
Not sure what’s going on. I’ve never had this issue before. My main URL structure is set to “Post Name” and I changed the “category” base to “.” because I didn’t want /category/ in the slug, just the category slug. It used to be example.com/category/people but I want it to be example.com/people.
But now since I did that, the archive for each category page isn’t popping up. It gives a 404. Everything goes back to normal when I remove the “.” In the category base in the Permalinks section.
I’m on Elementor and using CPT UI for custom post types. The categories apart of the custom post type are giving me this issue.
What am I doing wrong? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
