Just signed up to AdSense. Why are my earnings so low?

As the title states, i just signed up my site to AdSense and got approved about 3 days ago.

for context, my site is in the video editing niche and gets about 90K page views per month, but I’m only earning about $2 per day from ads – and that’s with all popular pages fully ad-optimised.

Is it normal for revenue to be this low when first starting off with AdSense?
