Keep selected variation from WC Shop/Category page

Hi team,

I’m having the following problem:

I need to ensure that the selected variations from the color swatches selector on the catalog pages are retained, even after clicking and be redirected to the product pages.

For example, at present, if you select the Blue color on the Shop page, the Green color still appears on the product page because we’ve defined Green as the default variation. However, I need to keep the Blue color selected on the product page, or any other color that I choose.

This is necessary to avoid having to click or select the same color at each step of the shopping process.

Do you have a solution for this issue?
