I’m returning to my blog after a 10 year hiatus. I’ll keep the same domain but I’m hosting at another place and will start from scratch.
Is there a way to link to a draft post, and have the link not show until I publish the post?
As I write a post I’ll think of another post and want to link to it. I make a post with a title and some notes and link to it. Eventually I’ll write the other post, but don’t want to edit my old posts.
Maybe a plug in can do this. Or a setting.

Do you mean that you don’t want to linked words to appear as a link in one article until you publish the target article at some later date? If so, I don’t know of any way to do that. Perhaps someone else has heard of one, but I haven’t.
Now, you can make a page URL for a future post and link to it. Anyone who clicks on it will see a 404 until you actually get around to publishing the target article, but it would keep you from having to go back and edit the old article. Might be bad for SEO though.
