Hi @shinri

In first place, I’d like to know what happened exactly, I’d need any logs.
For now, yes – running it once again is a good idea.

Before you run it again, download install latest version on both websites:
https://backupbliss.com/downloads/plugins/bmi-stable/backup-backup-1.2.2.zip
– It will be officially released soon.

Using v1.2.2 make new backup and try to run the restoration once again on a clean website.

Once you create backup, share logs with us: https://prnt.sc/lKbjrSAqQudm
– If it will be possible, do it also after restoration and share support code(s) with me.

I’d also recommend you to check if your .htaccess file is properly configured.

Also, keep in mind that accounts are also migrated, so you need to use same login details as on the website you backed up.

Let me know if above version gives your different outcome 🙂
Thank you!

This is the debug code after I made a new backup. It seemed to work fine.

Restoration failed, very disappointing.

Hi @shinri

You’ve created backup on the same website as restoration process, right?

I see one file that may not work well, on both websites:
wp-content/mu-plugins/vm_wp.php
– Which may work fine at your source website, but may conflict at your destination one.

Restoration failed due to out of RAM memory error, which is also strange as your limit is 40 MB and our plugin tried to allocate only 2 MB. If it’s easy for you to increase the memory amount to at least 128 MB, please give it a try – that should resolve this error.

In any case, if you can’t increase memory limit, could you please share backup URL with me via e-mail [ support (at) backupbliss dot com ]?

I’ll convert the backup to take even less memory during database restoration which should also help in this case – I’ll also check if there is any conflicting file that could cause such issue.

Also, if you’re using custom index.php file, you should bring original one for the time of restoration – custom index.php file may block some of basic WordPress functionalities which our plugin uses.

Thank you!

Thank you, but I ended up manually migrating my site because all the migration plugins I tried (including this one) had issues and were more of a hassle than I expected.
