I have ACF free and Elementor Pro.
Theme: Astra (free)
I have 10 upper categories (level1) in my category structure.
68 categories with subcategories 🙂
I used the default structure of wordpress for the category list. (I will change it if necessary)
I want to create an icon for each top category on the main page and link it.
When the relevant category is clicked, this time a page similar in design will come, but this time level 2 titles will be listed.
I couldn't figure out how to do this.
What is your suggestion for this job?
note1: There is a possibility of adding and subtracting categories in the future, so automatic solution is necessary.
note2: Since the site is under construction, I can do everything including theme change. (with free theme condition)
my category organisation looks like this:
cat1
- subcat 1.1 — subcat 1.1.a –subcat 1.1.b
- subcat 1.2 — subcat 1.2a — subcat 1.2b
cat 2
…
cat 10
