I have this friend that sells courses throught the kiwify plkatform. But since the percentage taken is too high we are considering replacing our current platform by a wordpress LMS website. Is there a good alternative to do that? Or those are just two different things that work for those very specific projects? Because I'm willing to choose between Learndash or Tutor LMS.
Heads up: *This next course my friend plans to reach 1500 buyers/students in total. I don't know what I should expect from the number of active online users. *The courses are recorded on video, and downloading is not an option, nor uploading to youtube.
Thank you

There are about 7 or 8 good LMS plugins available for WordPress. Each plugin has unique features not found in others and some disadvantages. It’s important to thoroughly review the features of each plugin based on your needs before using it for a live project. Most self-hosted WordPress LMS doesn’t charge a transaction fee.
For instance, Masteriyo has built-in order management, payment options, and an excellent interface. It also supports videos hosted on other platforms without any hassle. (I am associated with it now)
And, Good hosting is necessary to ensure scalability. Most plugins can support more than 1500 students.
Test and choose the plugin that best suits your needs.
