I have noticed lots of recent post about people wanting to run WordPress locally. Most people suggest running LocalWP or XAMP.
I am curious as to why the Bitnami WordPress virtual machine hasn’t been mentioned as an option for local WordPress development.
Import the image into Virtual box and start the machine. Open your browser to the provided ip address.
You can clone the machine and change settings.
Is there a reason this, to my knowledge, hasn’t been suggested as a reason to work with WordPress locally?
