Local Link to Share on Web

[ad_1]

I’m trying to create a setup where I can share what I am working on locally with someone over the web. I have been trying to set it up with tailscale and caddy. I had something working with a reverse proxy but I would get mixed content errors. I’ve tried everything possible that I can think of. I have changed the url’s in the wp-config to force https. All sorts of different caddy/tailscale configurations. My questions is what do other people do? Does anyone have a git link they could share of a functioning setup that I could use/learn from? I am running a custom Docker setup that I made. I have shared a link to the repo so you can see. I am not asking about specifics for the tools I was trying to use. I am not married to them. I just want to know what other people do and maybe find a faster route to learning and just get this working. Thanks.

  1. Local (localwp.com) does that out of the box. But most people use a non-local web server, since most home internet connections are trash unless you’re on 1GB up/down.
