Locally stored fonts not visible due to Cloudflare / Wpfastest cache?

[ad_1]

Hi there,

I followed one of the many tutorials on how to locally store and load your google fonts.
So I downloaded all the desired google fonts in all possible formats and created a “fonts” folder in the theme folder of the child theme.

I deleted the font stack from the theme, and added the local fonts to the font selector in the theme.

So far so good, but sometimes, and in some browsers (mainly Safari) I get to see a serif font, instead of the desired local stored font. However, I don’t see any Google Fonts being loaded anymore from the Google server, but somehow I don’t see the desired font.

Could this be due to Wpfastest cache and / or using Cloudflare?

Hopefully someone here has the answer 🙂

Cheers
