So I tried logging into my WordPress account yesterday and immediately a message popped up saying **“your account is blocked as a security precaution and you must reset your password to continue.”**
An email was sent to the email my account is registered under with a verification code. The problem is I have no idea what email was used. I’m pretty sure it is an email that I no longer have access to. I have not updated my email settings in over 10 years and I already checked all my current emails and did not find the email link in any of them.
So I can’t even update my account settings at this point since I’m locked out of my account. The email I used to register is no longer active. WordPress says the only way to verify my account is to use the link they provided in the email that I cannot access. What else can I do? I don’t want to never have access to my blog again. This doesn’t seem fair at all.
