I am looking to build a relationship with a WordPress Dev. In the short term, I need someone who can address speed issues with the setup of our site and on a monthly basis perform monthly maintenance, updates, automate backups, etc. Are there typically specialists who focus on site speed? If this ends up being separate developers, a “specialist” to address the site setup and one for ongoing needs, that would be fine. I’m not looking for someone who will just implement a site caching plugin, but more of a holistic review of our hosting, cloudflare setup, caching, image optimization, etc.
We use Elementor for making small updates ourselves and would like to continue to do so. Each year, we refresh the site with cosmetic changes and add new features/functionality. This is an “event site” for a B2B tradeshow. As of now, we do not have any ecommerce functionality, but may look to do so in the future. I’ve had mixed luck with Fiverr/Upwork and am looking for more consistent quality.
