One of my relatives is interested both in blogging and selling prints of their digital art and photography. I’ve set them up a WP website with WooCommerce. They would like to sell exclusively canvas prints and offer them in a small range of sizes (3 available dimensions for each image). They’ve got a local printing service that would produce these on order for them to pick up and send to customers. Therefore:
– They’re not looking for very extensive functionality.
– Copies of the same WooCommerce variable product with switched up images and titles would completely fulfill what they’re looking for.
– They would only like to put up ~30 of their best art pieces for starters, just to see if the stuff would sell.
– However, creating those products with vanilla WooCommerce would be both tedious and wasteful, if only because changing their prices later would be a nightmare.
– At the same time, buying a plugin for selling photo prints(like nextGEN gallery) would be overkill and frankly out of our budget (also, most of them seem to have no integration with WC, which would be appreciated for implementing local payment and delivery methods)
Does anyone know of some (free/budget?) solutions to facilitate the sale of picture prints, given our situation? Closest I’ve gotten is a product duplicator plugin, which… I guess I could work with, if only managing the print-products later was less sloppy.
