Hi r/Wordpress, first time posting here and I’m very new to wordpress lol.
I am creating a membership website where content will be hidden behind a paywall. There are multiple different membership levels and I am trying to decide which plugin to use. \[It’s a sports website, and will have all different sports, so NHL content will require the NHL membership, NBA will require NBA, etc etc\].
I need the plugin to automatically assign the proper role when a customer signs up and pays for that specific membership. I would also like the plugin to automatically set up recurring payments as I expect most customers to stay for multiple months/years.
Is there a plugin that supports this? I have been looking at a couple, however I haven’t been able to confirm if they do exactly what I need, and I was hoping to know before dropping $250++ for a year of the plugin lol.

Any of the plugins that appear in google when you search for “wordpress membership plugin” will do it. e.g. Woocommerce Memberships, Ultimate Member, MemberPress – there are a lot of them. This question gets asked a few times a week here, so try searching the sub as well.
