Hi,
I am very new to website design, but have quite a few youtube videos. I want to add a page on my site that is basically a searchable database for my collection. Users can search for topics on my site and then follow a link to the youtube clip. I am not sure what plugin in need and can't even figure out what to search for. I've tried searchable database, but those seem to come back with surveys and forms. Library seems to bring back some embedding plugins, but without searchable features.
Any ideas for what I need?

You need to set up a custom post type (e.g. ‘videos’) and taxonomies / custom fields. For that you can use ACF, MetaBox or Pods. Then for filtering, e.g. FacetWP or WP Gridbuilder.
I am tired so hopefully I am understanding correctly. Why don’t you create a custom post type for your videos using a plugin like acf called videos. Then create a taxonomy linked to that custom post type.Tag them up and then embed them into a page. Bue Horizon typed it out faster than me 😂 Was going to ask if you are using a page builder as theres a few different ways to then make them searchable as well. I would use a plugin like filter everything .

You might want to check out WP Table Builder it’s super easy to create tables where you can list your video topics and link to your YouTube clips.
