Hi everyone. I am in a bit of a pickle and was hoping someone might be able to help me out.
I developed a website on a staging site and was ready to transfer it from my staging subdomain to my main root domain. I asked my hosting provider if they had any services that did this, they said they would take care of it for me and now my root domain is still the old site and my staging site is a 500 internal error. I know this is my fault for trusting them to do this, but I am passed that now I am just looking to see how I can fix this.
I found in my cPanel .SQL files that were updated around the time I chatted with the hosting company. Could those be backup files from the staging site? If so, how can I go about importing those to try and restore my staging site?
Hosting company said they will restore my site, but will take 48 hours which I do not have. I am just trying to see if I can do this a little faster with some additional help/knowledge.
Am I completely screwed here? Anyone have any advice they can give? Thank you in advance.
