Hi guys!
I am new to web design and started with WP and Avada Theme. So far everything goes fine. But yesterday I faced a problem which I don't understand.
I have created the global layout and the next layout for the main page which goes by the address "http://localhost/investments/wordpress/". The layouts look like this:
The main page "http://localhost/investments/wordpress/" now looks like this:
And everything seems to be okay… right? …
BUT.. If I delete all the posts which were imported with the Avada template (I decided to start with a prebuild template to have some content on the website):
Than the main page just doesn't load anymore and looks like this:
However, if I return the post from the bin everything loads as before…
All other pages get loaded with no problem regardless of whether there are any posts published or not. The only page which doesn't load if all the posts are removed is the front page.
I just don't get it. I am building a web site which doesn't include any posts like a blog, it's going to be something like a company website with many pages with information about certain company services.
Could you please tell me how to solve it?
PS I know that Avada theme is not the best tool ever, but I had to start with something anyway =)
