Hi everyone,
I’m trying to use Matomo to replace GA and I had it configured with your plugin choosing the option not to generate cookies.
The site tracks correctly but I have a problem with Matomo opt-out (https://matomo.org/faq/general/faq_20000/).
There are two anomalies.
The first is that the mtm_consent_removed cookie is generated before the opt out flag is even removed.
The second anomaly is that when refreshing the page containing the opt-out script, the flag alternately appears as accepted and as not accepted.
Meanwhile examining the site I see that it continues to track regardless of the state of the flag.
Do you have evidence of this anomaly and if it can be related to your plugin (intended as a wrong plugin configuration) or if it is a Matomo bug?
