I’m helping out a friend update a site, and one of the things I cannot find resolution on is that I updated a menu link and it had NEW at the far side. I am having a very difficult time trying to figure out where to find the toggle or code for this. Does anyone have experience with this and how to remove it?

What Is Your Theme…??
You’re adding it through the regular WordPress menu options? Check the screen options menu to the top right, check enable CSS classes, then go back to the menu item to see if a css class for the new icon is being added
